Tim Hoover

Husband. Father. Grandfather. Business Owner. Kwon Ryu Fu Chi Do Founder. 7th Degree Black Belt. Licensed Private Investigator.

Tim has been teaching and training in the martial arts for over four decades. Since the early '80s he has been at the helm of Hoover Karate Academy — an institution in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania (just north of Philadelphia). He is the creator of a reality-based system that focuses on the practical knowledge and application of the martial arts.

For many years he was the Senior Executive Security Director for a prominent department store. He is also a licensed private investigator and for over 30 years has owned and operated a private detective agency providing undercover detectives, surveillance, security, and information services for individuals and businesses. Tim formed the Kids4Kids nonprofit organization — providing free karate classes to children, and instilling much-needed confidence and discipline in the participating youth. In turn, they were able to become strong adults in the community.

He shares his numerous years of martial arts training, along with teaching many thousands of students, and wisdom obtained through real-life experiences in interrogations and the covert operations field with Attack Life Not Others.
